Hey were these letters made in a 3d program or photoshop? I'm trying to work out how to get that effect in photoshop, but i cant find any tutorials or anything to help.

Just photoshop. Just typed the letters, then made them 3D with filltool and stuff. Then I made some dirt-brush, made a 1024x768 file. Filled the file with the brush, then select and cut. After that I opened up the file with the letters again, used vanishingpoint, selected the 3D part, pasted the brush pic. And voila, there you go. Just do that with every letter.
